yes, every pound less will help.
All over the internet and amazon. 1st search resulted in many including these.

I'm not sure. I saw that Toyota used a 51R battery in a special JDM racing model. It might have had a name like "Griffin" or "Phoenix" or something like that.

My 51R battery is still chugging away.

I ended up getting a Deka ETX15L. I'd used a Braille 14115 previously.

I 3D printed a spacer to center/hold it within the stock battery tray and raise it up just a little so I could use the stock tie-down. Also 3D printed a block to fit around the curved part of the stock hold down and to spread the load out over a wider area.

Seems to work well - I'd done something similar with the Braille and it held up through 2 HPDE seasons and was going fine when I traded the car.

The deka was way cheaper than the braille. $80 all in with the terminal adapters.

Deka 11.8 lbs with mounting hardware.

Stock 33.95 lbs with mounting hardware.

Sixth year tracking and D/D, Shorai 5 lb. battery still going strong !
Nine years now, worked like a charm when I put it back in the car for this season, but a slightly slower crank.

Until, I forgot my oft plugged in for 5 days.

The charger became recalcitrant swapping into charge mode , after 24 hrs. the charger would still not go into charge mode, but it eventually went into store mode.
Will report on reliability, after a long one of these -

how did you fit it and secure it in your car? I really want to dump that huge stock battery, but I don't want to half -ass the install.
