FR-S Pulsing Under Acceleration - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Had a weird issue when was trying to go school today in my 2013 FR-S. My car would start pulsing/jumping whenever I would accelerate, it was extremely bad at lower rpms (below 3.5k) but seemed to get a little better when it was at higher rpm's. When I last drove the car it was fine, but it sat for a day and now this is happening, it was so bad that I couldn't make it out of my neighborhood. Has anyone else had any issues' like this? Any recommendations that I should check?

CEL? I had an old Chevy pick up that behaved that way when the fuel pump was dying.

Nope no codes or CEL, it's pretty strange

I'm not familiar with superchargers per se, but a slipping belt might cause those symptoms.

Have you tried disabling traction control with the 5-second button hold method? Maybe your traction control is kicking in for some odd reason like tires not at their optimum pressures.
