Also, suffice it to say I have experience driving an STR car and an STX car (twins and my current RX-8). I am not worried about the twin in STR, I think you're grossly overestimating the importance of the extra parts. I think the new twin will be the "power" car in STR but add transitions and the ND is a lot smaller and lighter and will make up the difference.

My STR car is barely faster straight line than an STX twin, data to prove it over and over all year against the 2nd place STX twin. The size and weight are why STX is slower than STR. Adding more power to squirt between elements faster will only do so much.

So at this moment I disagree with those of you that are scoffing at the mere suggestion of such.

Didn't realize you finished the alignment. How much camber did you end up with? I thought I had read somewhere you said you didn't know what the camber was yet so I took that to mean it wasn't aligned.
The Lugod setup isn't the end-all be-all setup that's going to differentiate making the car an overdog haha. A lot of that depends on how you like to drive the car. Jonathon took a few runs in my car and couldn't get within a second of my time. I really don't think it stands any chance of being an overdog in STU or STR.

And my setup can get a ton of camber. Probably capable of close to 5.5 before the endlinks hit the fenders again. I'm not running that much. But lol at thinking I drove a misaligned car 22 hours

Oh you mean this comment? Where I'm very polite even though someone said something incredibly rude about a personal friend of mine?

I read it wrong sir! My apologies! The higher the camber the better at Crow's that place has such insane grip. I don't run that setup as I don't have the diff yet but I've driven a couple different cars running it and it feels great. I'm curious how much setup will change with the increased chassis rigidity. Do you think with the extra power that the car can handle 255s now instead of 245s?

You don't need a diff, high grip concrete, or 5k/9k springs for the car to be happier with >-4 Fcamber and a stiff front bar.

I was referring to the setup that Jon ran that people have been copying.

Plenty of fun to be had on the SSC FB group if you're looking for those jokes. There wasn't any joking in here

I think the same. I've tried all the setups on my car and could never make my car turn with 400F/400R or 400F/330R. I honestly don't know how people go so fast with those rates.

Yeah. I'm 400/400. Car tends to be a bit pushy at times. Probably more accurately, car tends to be more sensitive to surface than I'd like it to be. Sometimes, it is silly loose. I'm probably going to play with 350/400 or 400/450 or 350/450 next season, but the diff option is off the table for now.

With all that said, things could be totally different with the new car.

Also, Dietz came up to me unsolicited after a session at the Blytheville Pro in 2018 and told me that the reason that I was doing poorly is because the RT615 punishes bad drivers.
