I wasn't referring to that kind of enjoyment. More of just being able to conveniently get us all in the car to go somewhere

We all packed in to the BRZ a few months ago for Caffeine and Octane. It took me about 30 minutes each time in/out trying to maneuver my daughter into/out of her rear facing seat.

Thankfully my son (who is a 4'3" 5 year old...) can get in and take care of himself.

Engineering Explained video is pretty solid, looks like it's a contender for anyone who actually cares about driving experience and not numbers and specs.

Ahhh See now that makes sense to me!
You want to see my 6' 14 year grandson try and get in and out of the back. The battle between him and his 10 year of brother for who get's the front is awesome to behold.

Would certainly be a contender for my next car if it were not for all those damned fake vents. Way over the top for my tastes.

I think I could deal with it, I spend more time looking at the inside of the car than the outside.

The 20" wheels make me nervous though, not many tire options <$1k for a 245/30/20, I'm curious if an 18" wheel could work, an 18"/19" set of wheels with autox rubber would probably end up finding it's way onto the car every few weekends

I honestly don't think I could get over it. Have to walk up to the car to get in it and I would be shaking my head in disgust the whole way. I could probably get used to the front but damn that rear just sucks.

It should be apologizing for comparing a tarted up overpriced hypothetical 86 against something actually designed for a higher tier of performance.

Don't recall for sure but do believe it started life in the BRZ section which would indeed have been off topic. But now it is on topic in the right topic section for the topic.

I felt that way initially, but have come to appreciate its audaciousness. I have not yet seen it in the flesh but the hi-res videos out now are getting me more comfortable with its look. Throw on that conservative grey paint and it's all good lol.

But then I don't commute - I certainly would think long and hard before I bought this if I had to park it in a work lot every day!

BTW any vents on the car are not in fact fake - they are functional (see this Jalopnik post for an explanation of their functions). Honda claims this is the only car in its class that not just eliminates lift but generates real downforce at speed. Check out the comparative Cds:

When people say fake, they're referring to the huge ass vent looking things around the fog lights and rear.

That graph is funny, CTR has less city and highway MPGs than the Golf yet when combined, they equal out?

I just don't think I could get around how ugly it is. It could be a friggin' intergalactic space ship, but if you can't bear to look at it in your driveway, what's the point?
