Copper and pewter would look great, IMO.

Did I miss the picture? The OP has what appears to be either highly photoshopped or a rendering.

I laughed because ichi posted this over in random early yesterday and my very first thought and comment was "I wonder how long before the rumour starts that this is the next special edition". I even said something close to what you did. We are just standing by for motoring.au to state that an unnamed source has announced that this is the 2017 Special Edition for the US. It may very well be but at this point there is nothing to indicate that it isn't yet another Japan only version to add to the long list of ones they already have. Time will tell and there is no doubt they will eventually offer the PP on the 86 but that will probably (see I speculate as well) be across the board for all colours not restricted to one special one.

I don't think that the PP will be limited to a certain color if/when it does arrive. I'm speculating that being the case for 2017. I'm speculating that this year there will likely be a special edition and this setup seems to fit historically with what Toyota has done for special editions. It isn't like I'm seeing the 14R-60 and saying that it will come to the US.

So far it looks like the only pics are the official Toyota ones. You can bet your life they are retouched. They have probably been touched so many times they feel like a dive bar stripper.

So, as far as I can tell, it's like an iPhone. Same thing as the last one, not much different. You need a flowchart to keep track of the versions.

The car looks like a Jack-o-Lantern

They should have released this in October.

Orange and red in my eyes don't mix too well.. calipers and the rear lights just sit awkwardly with the main colour.

This is the orange is the one I wanted in the first place! Is that the same orange as the RCF?
