Now that the OP has installed his stock intake back on, we'll see if we can't get FA20 club to send him an updated tune as well and then we'll shoot for yet another apples - to - apples comparison in the near future.

Cheers!

Since mecha hasnt contacted me about with an updated log from his first thread i have yet to send him an updated file. If he would like an update he is more than welcome to get me a viable log emailed over so i can make changes to it with his current mods. His original file was never meant for anything but a bone stock car. I know he emailed me and told me he was busy and some time has past but the offer still stands for me to evaluate his logs and get him the best file for him anytime he is ready.

Mecha posted on 1/18/13 "Stay tuned, will be making a 3 way + stock tune shootout soonish... Just need to find a free saturday to re-dyno"

I went back and check my inbox and emails to make sure i didnt overlook him sending me the log or contacting me about the shootout and i dont see any contact from him or Drift Office. I dont know how much power my tune would make on his car at this point but my sole intention was to get him a safer tune than what he originally had for his mods.

I just received a tune from FA20Club, and I can tell you he is one of the most responsive vendors I've worked with. I'm in the infant stages of my tune, so he still needs to tweak the tune...is reviewing logs...and changing the modes to my spec. Emails have been going back and forth at least 5-10x a day.

Just seeing how he has been answering all of my dumb questions, makes me question the validity of the statements made (lack of communication). If a call or email was sent to Tony, I guarantee he'd be responding.

This is exactly the experience I was referring to - FA20Club is very responsive, so I figured something was up.

Lol. You would say that wouldn't you John? Thanks for that astute observation. I have logs that say otherwise. BTW, did you not tell the OP that your tune was optimized for the AirRaid intake?

Anyway, the OP has dropped his AirRaid and re-installed the stock intake. Shall we do this three-way again gents?

Disclaimer : Please note that this isn't a competition, only that the OP wanted to see how all his available ECUTEK options fared in his locale.

Regards!

Are you implying we used yours or someone else's John?

I mean, I'm only a "Pro-Tuner" and I can't even see your "Master Tuner" calibration. As far as I know, didn't we all start off with the same ROM files that were supplied?

No matter, we don't really care much either.

Cheers!

Care to show the log for that dunno? Because what is depicted in post 1 is a classic sign of knock correction between 6750 and 7000? I have seen this so many times on dynos from my sti days. The worst thing about that knock is it is right up at peak power.

If it is indeed not knock care to explain what it is?

I would love to see the log also of that pull in particular. I'd say the Visconti tune did work seeing as it was for a stock car and the other tune was custom for the car how it is now modded right?
