My dealer confirmed my car is still on track for November. Apparently I got my order in the first day they could submit orders and I was their first order.

I went through Fitzgerald Subaru in Rockville, MD. The sales people there are fantastic and Subaru fans themselves. I got mine for MSRP.

Picked the highest rated dealer within 100 miles or so: DCH Subaru of Riverside. I don't think it was a coincidence that they were the fastest to get back to me...

Thanks for the suggestion. I just call SOA and got my $500 off coupon and the dealer knocked off $500 from MSRP. I'm starting to feel I got a pretty good deal.

Woo hoo! Had to prove that I own/owned a subaru and the SOA rep said he would send me a loyalty coupon.

Try Kirby Subaru of Ventura. Robert Papandrea there has been super helpful and put together an order for me with almost all of our correspondence being via email (except the final call to get a card for the refundable deposit). The only thing he added on at first was cilajet. I asked him to remove it and he did no problem.

You could say that your buddy sent you for a similar setup (my name is Jacob). He’s quoted me all MSRP.

Just ordered mine over the weekend. Getting limited 6MT in WR blue pearl with auto dimming mirror, led dome light kit, front lip, and short throw shifter. Going to trade in my 2018 Chevy Sonic, can't wait! Was told around December!

Just a heads up, short throw shifter isn't an available accessory in the US.

One of my dealers told me that 2022 comes standard with a short-throw shifter.

Pretty sure what they mean is:
- Stock is "short" compared to e.g. WRX
- Stock is same US vs JDM
- JDM have a shorter shifter available as an accessory

Ordered from Colorado. Hopefully I am not being charged for factory equipment. Cost $500.
