But like I said last month it was only $300ish. Now it’s $800ish and I got that ticket 3 years ago.

Doing burnouts in a neighborhood isn't ethical.

I don't work in an office or live 5 minutes from work. 45 minutes each way, longer if I get caught by a train.

If your work truck is an FRS you aren't an electrician. Get a bike and wake up earlier.

It’s not a work truck. I put my power tools and my hand tools in my trunk and go to work. I was 19 when I did that burnout. I can’t ride a bike on the interstate. Enjoy your bike life. Hope that ice water wakes you up when a box truck drives by and you get splashed this winter.

Let that ticked drop off your record. This next step is generally difficult for your age group. Quit filling out estimates on line. Find some major insurance offices in your area. Dress up nice and walk in and talk with the Broker. See if there is anything they can do for you. They are stuck with the same formulas but sometimes they know certain discounts they can apply to help.

How many children did you hit going down the street while doing it or was it because you were naked and shooting at the neighbors houses also?

holy cow..I can't imagine paying even a couple hundred per month o.O granted I only have the minimum coverage for AZ and I'm a little older at 29 but I pay just a little over $700 a year through Progressive with 1 not at fault accident from my first FRS, 1 illegal u-turn and 1 speeding ticket in my current one..

I don't live a "bike life", nor am I the one asking for financial advice on a car forum.

I did plenty of stupid shit when I was 18/19, lost my license for a bit as well. Never paid more than $150 a month for insurance.

As was said above, two sides to every story. A burnout doesn't land you in jail. Judging by your responses here, I would guess your mouth landed you in jail. I would stick to online price quotes, you'll probably talk yourself in to $1000 a month bill.

I was on probation for some pot already so they went hard on me... I didn’t want to throw all of it out there but oh well. That’s funny though.

If you're paying 5 grand a year for car insurance get rid of the car and use uber. Or buy a horse

Thanks for the roast session everyone. Feel like I’m in Erik Foreman’s basement. Was just curious how much insurance was for everyone else. I’m just getting DP’d by insurance companies right now. It’s all good. I’ll just have to start doing side work again.

The Cost of Owning a Horse: Feed, Maintenance and Healthcare Needs. Most horse owners spend about $60 to $100 per month on hay, salt and supplements – and some spend much more, particularly if they feed grain.
Maintaining your horse's hooves adds even more to the cost of a horse.
Mortality insurance premiums are based on the age, use, and value of your horse. Annual rates can range from 3% or more based on the insured value of your horse.
The cost of horse bling, that can add thousands per year alone to keep up with the new styles. Not going to even get into what it costs for introducing forced induction to a horse.

$240/mo when I was young.
$130/mo now.

I need to refinance my car though. I know I can get it knocked down to $300/mo easy with my new credit score but It'll be like starting over with another 5 year financing...

But its so funny that everytime I break up with a girl and just decide to be single for a while I always seem to have a lot more money and better credit than I do when dating.
