Hi thought you'd like to see the Raven black FRS with the front side markers blacked out.

Actually it is paintable tint. I ordered a set of white markers and thought that's just as bad. So i went out and found the tint paint at Pep Boys. $12.00. better than $107.00 for white. Tried to buy black from carson Toyota but they said the cost would be $199.00 because the company in japan buys the stock marker lights and sprays them with black tint. Figured I'd bypass the Japanese spray painters and do it myself. Big difference now, I couldn't stand the yellow. Stood out like a sore thumb.

I usually hate blacked out lights but that looks great. I like how they blend in and are less noticeable. I think this would only work with black on black.

I don't like the yellow ones either.

When you said white markers, did you mean the clear ones? I'm liking the clear ones, not so sure about blacked out ones. On a Raven at least.

I did get my FRS at DHC of Torrance. To remove the side markers I remembered when I went through the owners manual it said how to do it. So got the manual out and it showed me how. Pretty easy, just don't force it.

Thanks Sall, I think so too, the yellow was driving me crazy, looked very out of place. I'm happy now and just waiting to be able to buy a Five axis duck bill spoiler.

Calidrifter, they still reflect. In fact I had to turn the flash off to get the second picture because it would not show the black out, just the reflect. Very cool how the tint worked.
