Wait Wait wait... Some of us are sick of waiting. Over a year here for a GR86, months for a BRZ.

No surprises. Spend more for the tS, or wait for the "Performance Package" that is sure to follow if you just want the big Brembos and dampers, hopefully for not too much more than the frankly remarkable $1200 it cost on the gen-1.
Honestly, I doubt it. Last time around for the first gen, the PP came out first. Given that Toyota just released their PP for the GR86 and Subaru does this instead...not a great sign IMO. Add in the general direction of Subaru: focus on boring vehicles (yes they're profitable), killing off the STI and the constant murmurs of them not longer having any interest in the BRZ....it's not great.

Curious that Subaru Canada has no press release up on the tS which makes me wonder if we'll get it up here. Anyone know if the last tS sold in Canada?

We shall see... Honestly I would be minorly annoyed if I were holding out for Brembos, but as it is I'm having to add 120 lb. of ballast to compete with the '23 in my time-trialing class, and a "Performance Package" would add another +84 lb., not gonna happen! Learning to live with dinky sliding-caliper brakes...

"...18-inch aluminum alloy wheels in a unique dark grey finish."

Ah, say what? All the photos show (and some vloggers are upset about) the tS rims being gloss black. So misprint or Canada being different? (again)

Nope, the US presser also says "dark grey". I'm interested in a Magnetite and would much prefer the OG 18" grey wheels to black.

The black (instead of cheesy silver painted) plastics from the anni model would have been a nice touch :/

Do you mean the HVAC switches?

I think they are darker on the tS, also the traction control switches.

This pic doesn’t have the light reflection off the switches.
