Out of all the exhausts I've seen and heard the legamax premium HKS exhaust is my pick. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12187
Video in the above thread. Sound is exactly what I'm looking for. |

^ what Nardi said: waiting for the resonated version in brushed finish. Having read Perrin's development threads, they seem to have a handle on the FA20, and their full disclosure on findings is very appreciated!

the boxer sound is off the UEL header. if they run to the stock over pipe then it doesn't matter what cat back you get now.

Exactly my thinking! Just looking to have a mildly modified car with supporting mods for potential supercharging: I hate doing things twice...

go for a custom exhaust shop mandrel bent??
Should cost around 600-800 bucks for a catback and you can customise however loud/quiet you want the sound, what tips you want.. how high/low the exhaust sits.. |

Can't be bothered with the development hassles these days: must be getting old! I'm pretty time-poor, and the potential issues regarding droning, noise issues etc just don't appeal. If I can get a well-reviewed, proven kit that fits first time, I'm more than happy to pay the $1k asking price.
Just my opinion. |
