Interested to see how the light comes through them.

Light comes through just like stock when all red. There are no solids in the color coat, it's a true red candy dye. With a light or medium tint, it still shines through really well. The darker you go, the worse it is obviously but the material itself makes for a very oem look. Can't be compared to spray can tints or red candy. There should be a few different sets at Brady's meet Saturday. Just let Brady know you are interested and he can get you setup.

Looks good on the car! All work is going through Brady at pure automotive now. We talked before him and I set things up so your case was a little different

@spitfire481 i take it from your posts that youre doing the painting? Im in the middle of setting up a time with Brady to drop off two sets of tails next week: my stock set and a set of Spyders (black housing/clear lens); Ive seen how dark the Spyders look bc of the black housing; any way to make the red pop more even with the black housing behind it? I cant wait to get these done!

It's all at the mercy of what's behind the clear lense unfortunately. It's red candy dye, so there is no way to make it mask and brighten up the underlying color.

Looks sick! Can't wait to get them. I don't know why Spyder did not put these in production - it looks like they made a prototype, but never executed:

I confirmed with Evasive that these do not exist anywhere, so I bought the black/clear ones to have painted. There are a few other guys that have done this already, but I knew I wanted this done the second I saw the pics from Sema.

Thanks for putting pics up!
