Anyone with eddie's tune with base idle timing changes having issues with downshifts where it feels like the car is stumbling?
It almost feels like the car is struggling to rev up properly when rev match downshifting, and my downshifts occasionally are jerky

that s the downside of pops and bangs since they retard the ignition so much killing the torque

You can fix most of that by not starting the igniton retard in base timing B till over say 3600 or so. Ie dont run retard all the aag down to 800 rpm

well you can rescale the base idle timing (overrun) table to let it retard timings only after 3x00 rpm like steve said, and put normal positive timing under it

So i have an invidia n1 catback and catless resonated front pipe. Will -7 make any pop/crackle? And if i put -10 or -15 will that produce a loud pop? And if im just cruising, is there like an on off for the pops?

Hey guys was wondering if I could get some help.

So im trying to follow the method eddie posted. The only issue im having is all the tables turn red after I adjust them to the values posted. Any idea what the problem might be?

Is it not just to show you the tables you have changed?

aah yes understood what he meant.. they get a red border if you make the value higher than initial, a blue border when you make it lower
just be carefull to the actual value you put it s easy to mess a value or a comma, and not notice immediately with romraider

Hi all,
I'm trying to implement both methods in Romraider (Table B and OverRun), however, if you look to the left, you can see that the OverRun fueling subcategories are all highlighted in red and when I click on any of the tables I get different and weird numbers unlike most guys above. I'm using the latest OTS tune with its included XML definition of type ZA1JB01C

The def's supplied by OpenFlash are outdated.
I've uploaded an updated B01C def for you. You can use this only with the V4 OFT tunes, do not use it with the older one's!
