Anyone know if the owner of the white FR-S who parks it in the new Walden community in Calgary everyday is on here? It's usually in that dirt parking lot by the landfill that's shutting down. I see it from the window of my room everyday and it just makes me that much more impatient to get my hands on mine!

Hi...don't understand the waiting for the BRZ. I bought mine from Rally Subaru in Edmonton in March, one of several which were on the lot. No fuss, no bother, no waiting.

We are having another 86 Meet in Edmonton on June 23, 2:00 PM at Hawrelak Park. I invite all you guys to come out and join us in this mega meet. First time posting on here, was a lurker here for a while.

I 'm in the Calgary area and was hoping to meet up with some local FRS/BRZ drivers, particularily anyone with the BRZ Limited Leather/Alcantara seats. Tried out the FRS seats and was thinking of putting a pair of them in my ride since VAG decided to not give North America the option of the Euro-spec Recaros...

Ohhh which bumper did you get? Maranello's is excellent, it's where I would take my car if I needed body work done.

I just had my rear bumper painted (new after hit and run) and roof repainted by Maranello. They are awesome.

What ever happened to the idea of a joint Calgary/Edmonton meet in Sylvan Lake or some othervplace in between? Maybe a link with the local Scion clubs would bear fruit?

I just got it back a week or so ago and haven't had time to wash it and take pictures! I will post some when I do! I also put on some gunmetal buddy club sf wheels.

AMA decided they would go after the car wash after all. Initially they didn't think they could (wouldn't be worth it), but they later decided to set a precedent and go after them anyway. The car wash's argument was that 186 cars went through that day and none of them had problems (I went through at 10:30pm). Turns out they weren't keeping any maintenance records and likely weren't maintaining it, so their argument for 186 cars now works against them. The roof had to be repaired before insurance could finish going after them, so I had to get it repaired first, but hopefully I'll get my deductible back.

Also I tried to organize a meet last year and like 10 people agreed and bailed last minute..

Also has anyone had any major issues with their cars ?
Any one got any TSB work done?

I may have a bad tranny .. Drove a friends BRZ gear changes were like butter and mine are still crunchy/Grindy.
He's at 11000km and I just hit 10000.
