For some reason when I have the same setup I can see a bit of gap at the bottom between the nexus 7 and the bezel just like in the picture. And what torque widget is that?

Tiny gap for me. Not noticeable. Regular torque widget.

What do you connect the Brown Factory Amp Turn On wire (From the 10 pin connector) to?

- I think this is how it goes, let me know if this is correct; Brown wire from the car harness goes to the blue wire on the metra harness, then that blue wire connects to the blue/white remote amp turn on wire from the JVC harness along with the blue wire from the antenna adapter. ?

Not sure about the brown wire. Only 1 wire wasn't used for me. As for the antenna power on the metra antenna harness there's a blue wire that needs to be connected to the other harness (with a lot of wires) power antenna line.

When I turn on the car, for first five seconds I get a small whine/white noise sound when using the aux. After that everything is clear, is this normal?

Got it all setup today. The DAC is definitely worth it, couldn't believe the sound difference. Last question, is there a way to have the Nexus automatically start playing music when it wakes from deep sleep?

Use a program called tasker. Should help you set that up.

Well, I've only used t a couple days now, but so far it's working great and I'm very excited about the install. I've yet to use taskr to set up the auto play music because I'm waiting for my weekend to start. I have Torque setup and working along with the JVC Smart Control App to change sources on the JVC KDX310BT deck so I retain my AM/FM stations. Both the OBD bluetooth and bluetooth from the Nexus to the JVC receiver connect at the same time without issue. I'll post a couple pics in a couple days.

Thanks for the heads up. Keep us informed. Sounds like the 310bt may be a better unit now.

I got Tasker up and running. I have it set to open my music player (DoubleTwist) as soon as the screen turns on, it then selects the now playing tab and starts the music. Pretty sweet.

(8) AX-ToyUSB Adapter (Ebay) - Didn’t use because I ended up using the JVC USB port to power the Nexus - $8.99
