Does anyone have a pic of the stock tire (or i guess any 215) on a 17x8 wheel and preferably stock suspension? Hoping it won't exaggerate the gap too much.

I'm about to buy these wheels and need best tire recommendations. Wheels are, 17X9 +20 STR and I'm lowered 1" with TRD springs. I want tires that would best fit these wheels and fill in wheel gap without any rubbing. See pic below of the wheels on an RS1

Just go to the Subaru website and look at the Limited or Premium. Same tire and from the side, you'll see no difference between the 7" and 8" rims.

I've looked around but could only find posts with 225 tires on them but does anyone know how the fitment would be in the front for a 18x9 +25 on a 245/40 tire? Stock suspension

- Thanks

A lot of questions about 245, YES this fits!

245 40 R17. Firestone Indy 500
On 17x9 +35 Koyas
Stock AF height and camber

Fits no problemo
No issues on Quebec rough roads
No RUBBING or scraping of any kind.
Btw...
Like Superglue in the rain.
Bye bye to this:

I would stick to 225/40 on stock suspension. As the stretch will help with the look/poke. Get/install camber bolts too.

A 245/40/18 tire will sit square on the wheel and make the poke look bad. This is my opinion. Look at the yellow car above. It has similar poke to what you are talking about. The amount of poke that a 17x9 +20 wheel, that is lowered 1", will be very close to a 18x9 +25 at stock height.

Also, don't get a 245/40/18. Get a 245/35/18; as it is the correct/stock diameter.

Good luck!

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. I recently purchased a 2015 Subaru BRZ Sport Tech that I will be picking up sometime next week. I'm looking to get Varrstoen ES2 18x8.5 +35 Offset. Wondering how they will fit, weather itll poke a bit. Do have intentions to go coils down the road but will be stock height for a while. Anyone rocking these wheels?

Thinking about picking up some new wheels, which would fit better on coils?
18x9.5 +20
18x9.5 +35

Will this fit? If so what tire size is best with them?

Wheels : 18x9 35mm offset
https://cosmisusa.com/product/xt-006r/

Tires : I was thinking 235 35 18

Lowering Springs: TEIN S TECH SPRINGS 1.3"
( the guy had them on before me )

My buddy is giving me a set of these dirt cheap so i'm hoping I can fit them. Also I tried to check on here if anyone was running something similar but couldn't find any.

Welcome to the Forum!

235/35/18 is super rare, what tire are you thinking?

I'd go 225/40/18. Get camber bolts too.

Good luck!
