My Heavily Customized DGM 2013 Subaru BRZ
Hello, I finished a major project heavily customizing my Subaru BRZ,
I have over like 30 different modifications on this vehicle. From a supercharger, to rims, to carbon fiber interior parts & custom lighting. Here are some pictures. Would love to hear what everyone thinks. |

Supercharger setup looks great, but the wheels look a little small (mostly due to their design).
The interior looks nice, but the light in the front grille is a bit much. The light-up badges actually look okay...but some on here won't like them. |

i decided to stick with 18" wheels as i live in philly and it's pothole city over here; and yes there are a lot of carbon fiber pieces i replaced in the interior. it looks a lot nicer and couldn't wait to get rid of all that cheap plastic materials.
yes the lights in the front grille are a bit much, which is why there is a switch inside my car that can easily turn it off when i want i love the illuminated emblems, that was custom made from oracle lighting. they don't sell them. you have to send your emblems to them to do it. |

Cons: Fake Carbon Fiber (correct me if I am wrong here)/Interior is too busy (chrome, silver, red, aluminmum)/Auto/light up emblems/Wheels look very small/Not low enough/Chrome exterior trim/Orange tow hook? For the city?/Light up grill Just my opinion - all that matters is that you enjoy the car. With the forced induction, probably faster than mine. |

none of the carbon fiber is fake. i spent thousands of dollars in carbon fiber, nice wishful thinking tho.
yes i see your point, some things may look a bit busy. personally i think the interior goes very well. i don't have everything carbon fiber. it's mixed with the metal and chrome pieces. i think the combination of the carbon fiber and metal pieces and red stiching accents look really nice. def. beats the standard BRZ interior with the cheap plastic and boring appearance. yes i wish i could get bigger wheels too, but i live in a city with a lot of potholes. if i didnt have that then i would of course get bigger wheels. but personally i like the look of my wheels, yes it would be nicer if it was a bit bigger. i love my emblems. and yes i had to get a tow hook because my aftermarket carbon fiber bumper covers up the tow hook hole. and i think the orange looks good against the carbon fiber. it's a lot of nice constrasting colors. i think it looks sick. I have a sense that many people including me in this forum will not like your car.

true. just because something looks good to me doesnt mean someone else will like it. but every person that ive shown it to has given me good comments. maybe i went a little overboard with the carbon fiber, but it beats staying with the boring cheap plastic materials that came with the car.

The interior looks good, I like it. I think the car could use a little bit more low just to fill in the gap. The 18's would look much nicer in my opinion if that gap wasn't there. Otherwise nice car, you should be proud of it! You made it look the way you wanted and thats the most important thing.

i feel ya. believe me if i didnt live in pothole central. i would of course consider doing something about the wheel gap, but it's just not practical. lowering my vehicle where i live could do a lot of easy damage to the car. it's not worth the risk. i got my car in summer of 2012. and since then ive already replaced the entire front bumper from all of the scatches and from damage from hitting objects that scrapped right undernearth of it. i can't imagine lowering it further.
and the wheels are yoshihara design DY-37C |
