NEW 17x8 +45, 17x9 +45 Enkei TX5 wheels
Hey I'm pretty new here, been following the forums for some time, but this is my first post. I'm a long time Subaru owner and traded my 07 WRX in for this 2014 Subaru BRZ. Just wanted to share some pictures of my new tires and wheels. Wheels are Enkei TX5. Ordered them through tirerack.com which advertised them to have a concave spoke design on the 9" wides, but unfortunately that was not the case which was my main reason for staggering them. I decided that I still liked them though and kept them on the car. I have only seen a picture of one other car online with these wheels and it was a red Nissan Silvia.
17x8+45 front with Continental DWS 215/45 total weight of 42 lbs each 17x9+45 rear with Continental DWS 245/40 total weight of 44 lbs each while checking the weight on these I also compared them to the factory wheel/tire that weighs in at 41 lbs after 5000 miles. Let me know what you think! and yeah I already know...It needs more low! Last edited by BlueBoxer; 03-14-2015 at 01:35 AM. Reason: Title change, first post introduction |

How bad is the stretch on the front? I was a bit hesitant on ordering 8" rims with 215 tires. |

Looks good. Reminds me of OEM rims you see on some of G37 sedans by infinity.

The stretch isn't bad at all IMO. It actually has about the same stretch as the tire recommended by tirerack for the 9". I can try and get a side shot of the wheel of you'd like.

Hey bobblehead, I saw your car on the mightycarmods forum with the wheels. How do you like the stretch/setup? I think we are the only 2 running these wheels the twins and what are the odds that they're both BRZ WRB?
