I had the Moroso baffle installed for a little while. I found at anything above about 6.5k rpms I got oil pressure drop/surge. Presumably because oil wasn't getting back to the pickup fast enough.


They are apparently re-designing it.


A proper trap door design like this looks like it would work better and the Cosworth imprezza baffles look similar.

Considering we have 5qts of oil in that little pan I do not think there is a point to baffle below the edge of the pan, I will opt for a much simpler setup

Is anyone else eager to see the development of Koenigsegg's Freevalve? I hope he makes them in a design than can be easily retrofitted to the FA20. They would be ideal for a high-rpm NA build. Forget ITBs; just run without a throttle. It doesn't get much more responsive than that. We also wouldn't have to give up as much low-end torque.

Would be awesome although I think we are decades away from retrofitting that and its probably a $30K+ system
