I heard HKS is working on a turbo car but they are using a piggyback ecu, and last I heard from EcuTek is that they did not have a car yet to work on in the UK.

I haven't got mine yet, nor even sat in one, but am sold. Here is my list. I'd get rid of the piped in sound on day 1. Get Enkei RPF1 17" wheels and maybe put average stick tires with good turn in response. These weigh 15.2 pounds, reasoinably priced and very strong. I'd bet that shaves 7 pounds per corner. Lithium battery, probably less than half the weight of the stock one, take out the back seat and make a very lightweight dog seating area (No human would ever sit in that back seat anyway). Make a slide in Iphone holder up where it would be easy to reach. I'd like a roof rack with a quick detach setup for my Yakima High roller bike rack. I think that is it.
Edit....I have now got one. 6 speed low mile used car! (1,180 miles). Pumped. I think the stereo needs work. No Mods planned other than the iPhone holder. Last edited by Nicad; 03-29-2022 at 12:27 AM. |

Brake pads, camber bolts, hit the track, tighten the nut behind the wheel.
Side note what sku of the whiteline camber bolts do I need for the front of the 2nd gen? |

I still won't get mine for a few more months at least, but it will be similar to my '15 BRZ.
Nice wheels (haven't decided what yet because of fitment stuff in the rear) Some decently sticky tires. Nice coilovers w/camber plates Rear LCAs and possibly a toe link Cat-back OEM Audio upgrade whenever it finally shows it up And maybe a tune when they are available. Just because I know the car will be driven so little by the time an issue shows up it will be long out of warranty.

Car is used strictly as a track car first with occasional cruising while it still has comfort bits in it.
At delivery: - PPF entire car + C-Quartz Skin - TOM's duckbill spoiler (I wanted a little vanity) After break in: 1. Spare set of track dedicated wheels - Enkei 17x8 TS-10s 2. Track dedicated rubber - currently on FREE set of Toyo R888Rs but likely to move to something long lasting in the enduro 200tw tire category like Hankook RS4s or Conti Extreme Contact Force. 3. Track pads - G-Loc R16s front, R12s rear 4. Brake fluid - Endless RB600 as Castrol SRF was hard to find 5. Upgraded diff fluid - Motul 300 Gear 75w90 6. Oil - Motul 8100 0w30 or 5w30 Track, track, data gather, track, track - now dial in what I might need. 7. Raceseng Camber Plates 8. SPC Camber Bolts Track, track, data gather, track, track. 9. Maybe a proper data logger down the road.

My mod path is based on the car not being a daily driver. Occasional drives to work, some use on the weekends, but I bought it to take to the track.
1) Alignment. Max camber Before first track event (VIR): 2) Oil cooler 3) Motul fluids 4) Increased capacity diff cover? Maybe 5) Brakes... probably AP Racing Sprint kit 6) Tires... thinking Nitto NT-01... 215/45-17. Maybe 225/45-17 7) More camber adjustment... Pedders, SPC? Still researching I've done enough track days to know I'll cook the OE tires. I think I'd rather skip the 200 TW category. Hopefully I can get by on stock suspension for a while with NT-01s.
