Thank you good sir! =) only 2 more parts remaining for the car to completely finish transforming for cosmetic purposes only

1, foglights (i have purchased, but not installed yet)
2, roof spoiler
3, VG shark antenna

then i'm done with visuals -- everything else (suspension, wheels) will be geared towards handling > appearance

8-12 weeks is what the DMV site says. I'm on week 9 and still waiting, and waiting, and waiting to get my notice in the mail to go pick them up. I've been running without plates as well. Like the look. LOVE the car...

Talked with DMV yesterday and the lady that helped me sorta chuckled and said it took her 7 months to get her plates. She did say that the plain plates...no Tahoe, Whale etc. don't take as long. She told me it could take up to 7 months...lol...so I'll just keep waiting and driving this bad ass car...

Haha that's great. Just keep proof of ownership on the car and they suggest to not flip (to the plain side) the dealer's plate. If so you choose to keep it.

I can't convince my wife enough my plates are not custom and they arrived ~5 weeks. When you find out what it means, you'll understand

My plates took roughly 3 months as well. In regards to picking them up, the dealer picked it up from DMV for me. All I had to do was stop by after work and switch the plates. Very easy transaction.
