Rear Rotor Suggestions?
So I'm in the midst of planning my brake setup for tracking in the 2016 season (I'm in Canada, so track season is almost done for 2015).
A bit about me: Next year I plan to go to the track far more often than this year. I have a new job that allows a flexible schedule. Ideally, I'd like to go twice a month through spring, summer and fall (~15 sessions in the year). So far, I have already bought the RR Racing BBK. Now, I'm looking for the rear, and I'm stuck on which rotors to buy. Originally I wanted (and still do want... but) the DBA T3's. But they are really expensive, and since I am only looking to replace the rear rotors (as the front ones came with the BBK), I'm thinking the T3's might be a little overkill. Some have suggested Stoptech slotted rotors, I've also been looking at the DBA T2's; and now I'm just confused and at a crossroad. The only decision I have really made is I want the rear rotors to be slotted. I'd greatly appreciate any input the community would have.

Is your BBK front only? If so, I have the Essex Sprint kit up front and I have been using a set of OE rotors in the rear. The rears will last forever. I don't see a need for anything fancy back there.

Why do you want them to be slotted? I thought these days it's proven that slotted discs don't do much except reduce pad life, or at least the benefits of them are so slight that I would rather that my pads lasted longer.
I'd also suggest just using OEM discs or equivalent solids. Save the £ and invest in pads

Slotted ones don't just reduce pad life. You also gain feature of them being easier to crack. Win-win i'd say?
Jokes aside, as for upgrading rears too .. while OE are adequate and long enough lasting, i don't like them being that heavy. Sprints save a lot of weight on fronts, a bit of a pitty they don't have matching in rear to save as much there too .. |

IMO, stock or centric blanks for the rears. No point in anything else unless you're doing it purely for the look.
