Salesperson as the dealership I ordered from. The car is listed as "In Port" on their inventory.

I was told something similar in regards to amount of time in port. I can take up to 3 weeks for the cars to be processed and shipped. I understand your disappointment. Myself, on the other hand, don't really care. The hard part for me was waiting to see if the car was on the first shipments. Now that it is actually in the port, I can relax. The car does exist and is close by. It's no longer "IF", but "WHEN", which is much better.

Anyone have a delivery date? I was told "you may be able to pick it up next week", hope it's true.

I'm honestly hoping it does take 3 weeks. I was planning for mid-June, as that was the approximate time frame I was given. I'm hoping to have a busy sales weekend and sock away a little extra dough to put down on the car before I pick it up. I'm also trying to free up some liquid assets before then - stocks, insurance reimbursement, selling spare car parts. This is my first new car purchase and first car loan so I want to make sure all my ducks are in a row before sitting down in the finance office.

I'm waiting for the finance guy at Subaru dealer to call me back with the result of the credit application and see what rate they offer me.

That damn salt

Ruining our cars in the winter, and ruining our view in the spring.

Drat!!! We need a helicopter or level A clearance into the port. Who can arrange this? I'll begin assembling a team of divers to infiltrate the area tonight. Anyone got a grappling hook? A parachute?

I checked your old posts and noticed you ordered relatively recently; what was your position in your dealer's allocation queue?

Pro tip, use auto trader to find BRZs. I had a deposit but my dealer wasn't giving me any info. Searched auto trader, found the spec I wanted, sent an email, dealer said just put a deposit and it's mine. There are more than a dozen listed on there last I looked.
