Checking in. Just changed out my ptuning EL header for a Tomei UEL. Much rumble, but I can feel a little loss up top. I’ll take it. Gt3076r V1 kit. 10:1 compression.

No, I just bought 3" perrin cat back exhaust, and it bolts on I think. There is Ptuning cat back exhaust which may not be in production now, and I couldn't find a used one. You may be able to find one if you get lucky, and I think it is better suited to the kit.
Modified pipes came with the kit which was 3" turbo --- cat back. |

Should I reach out to PTunning directly about fitment questions? I have a '18 BRZ tS and I am not sure if there is any clearance issues with the "v-bars". Also, debating heavily between the Greddy 518z and this kit. Can anybody way in? Cheers!

The V-bar (strut tie-bar) on the tS should not be an issue due to the Cobra intake on our revised V2 turbo kit. The only fitment issue we see is the Flexible Draw Stiffener bars that are mounted to the bottom front cross member of the tS. The draw bar on the passenger side of the car will have to be removed in order to run our kit since the bar interferes with our low mounted gt turbo. We don't feel that removing those bars to install the turbo kit will make any noticeable difference in handling but that's your call. |
