I don't need to work. I just thought it would be an interesting way to make some fun money and get out of the house a few hours a week.

Out of curiosity, I looked it up. This is the first thing that came up...

"While it's possible to rent a car with a manual transmission, there are a few limitations: Manual transmissions may be offered for a limited time as a test. You cannot use rental cars to train drivers on how to drive with a stick shift, as stated in the Terms and Conditions."

I did the same when I got my Idaho license. I had to sign a form stating I didn't want the motorcycle license anymore. I thought that was strange.

It's CYA for DMV. They don't won't you coming back a week later claiming they didn't include it even though you were eligible.

Today is my and my wife's anniversary. Long time. So to celebrate we are getting in the hot tub, in our jammies, and going to try to find another series to watch.

Just finished Boardwalk empire. Anyone have suggestions?

Depends on what you've already watched so it's a shot in the dark based on Boardwalk Empire and not knowing what services you have.

Suits
Lincoln Lawyer
Bosch/Bosch Legacy
Silent Witness
Father Brown
Death in Paradise/Beyond Paradise
Luther
Hope Street

and some lighter fair...

I think I mentioned a few weeks ago I got into baseball cards recently.

I'm on this baseball card forum thing and you can find people to do trades with, and usually there's a thing people use to score other people so you know if they're a reliable trade partner, so it's decently legit.

Anyway, so I post earlier today I'm looking for a few cards to complete this one set.

Guy replies back, says he has two of the cards for $2 TV (trade value, basically I need to offer something of similar value, which is fair). So I message him and offer a card that on Ebay has recently sold for $2-3.

Now he's trying to say he wants a rarer card from me instead, and has stopped replying.

I asked him to confirm since he said $2 in the original reply, so this was the last thing he said:

Quote:
Oh it's definitely $2 TV. Just trying to find something with more pop in the sell box. I'm fine with the mini if that's what is on the table
So I replied to that and offered to find a different card *at that same original value* and he stopped replying lol.
