Anybody know if these will work the same as @DeOppressorLiber 's? Or are they different? http://www.ebay.com/itm/LSJ-8-Pin-Th...b4ee50&vxp=mtr

No idea what the pin-outs for these look like. The description states that they are for a chevy colbalt, so I don't think they will work at all. You may risk burning out your $1300 headlamps hooking these up..

He is in the military and might not be in position to responds as quickly as before. Great guy and great product though.

Awesome stuff!
I have a EUDM GT86 with 8-pin headlights and ordered a Spec-D headlights for FR-S which will come with 6-pin sockets. Dear @DeOppressorLiber if you or anyone else can produce a harness to plug-in these headlights without rewiring everything - I'm happy to pay a good price!

I'm no wiring guru by any means but in the diy it says something about mounting a resistor after repinning the harness. Does this wire require a resistor to work or is it straight plug and play? Sorry if it's a dumb question I've been looking to do this mod on my 10 series for some time now thank

I believe you may misread. You have to remove the DRL resistor that's already on the car before hooking everything up.

I see what you are asking. They are talking about adding a resistor to the high LED to reduce it's power output.

@indesign
Did you have to tap into the DRL module wires?

According to the guy who made the harness, you're not supposed to run it with the DRL module, so I took the DRL module out. I think the harness makes the LED strip run off the parking lights instead.

I am not sure if he makes a 6-pin to 6-pin harness.
