Heh, especially in silver. Now combine it with a dark blue car like mine... "Damnit, I just cleaned that" gets uttered on a regular basis.

i wish TireRack had them in anthracite, but no. Sold out. They're lighter than OEM, and easier to clean. A simple $5.00 wire brush easily slips between the spokes. And the open look helps reveal the rotor, which I hope to upgrade soon. |

17x8 +48 OZ Ultraleggeras with 235/40R17 ZII's
Does anyone know how this setup will fit stock? Or with a 1" drop?

That's just a tad wider than stock. So you'll have tons of clearance everywhere. From an appearance perspective, you'll have a bit of tuck (meaning the wheels/tires won't be flush with the fender). |

I believe you should be looking at 225/45 - 245/45 range for 8x17. May also look at 235/40 and 245/40R17, they are more rare but exist - the look should be very similar but slightly smaller overall.

You always wanna follow the measuring rim width when buying tires. They're are national standards based on North America and Europe for P-metric and hard metric. For a 17x8 your best fit would be a 235. If you look at tirerack.com under the tire specs tab it'll tell you measuring rim width.

Spacers for OZ Ultraleggera?
Ok - so I got my new wheels - really not thrilled with the offset. they are OZ Ultraleggera 17x8, +48.
They don't have the pockets milled in the back of the hub, so what are my options for spacers? I'd like 20mm up front and 25mm in the back. Ordered some V3 spacers, but I think I need room for the studs to extend into the back of the wheel, which won't work. As you can tell, I'm new to spacers. Any suggestions? Thanks. Maybe they'd look better with meatier tires - running the stock primacy's right now. |
