Any full synthetic oil of the appropriate weight will be probably fine. I use Mobil 1 full synthetic on my gen1. I believe API-SP is the latest/best standard, so look for that on the back in a little circular logo. |

Okay cool thanks. Just a few questions if you don’t mind, what things do I need as in special pieces/parts to perform the oil change? I honestly thought all I needed to do was change the oil lol but now I see that I need more things. Obviously I’ve never changed the oil myself but I would like to learn how to.

Oil filter options?
For the factory specified oil filter, does anyone have the specifications?
Primarily I'm interested in the bypass pressure rating. There's room for a much taller oil filter. Anyone know of one that meets the bypass pressure range? |
