There's nothing about that car that it has in common with the LFA other than they're both FR coupes. Ridiculous.

The front end looks a lot like the McLaren 720S. Though sadly the front end headlight treatment is the worst looking part of that car

That's where I've seen that front end before...
It is promising to see Toyota/Lexus gunning for some sporty electrified vehicles (not sure if they are explicitly BEV or if they'd be hybrids, FCEVs, etc).

That’d be really cool if the factories for these models provided a couple for the factory workers to check out on the weekends. Take the misses up to a northern prefecture and tour around in an LFA you had some responsibility in assembly on.

Without a V-10 under the hood, what is the point of having the front end be so long?
This thing is like the Tofurky of supercars.

Besides looks, it might not be a typical skateboard design if it is a top tier sports car. They may decide that a skateboard design puts the driver up too high, so like others, they decided to move the batteries to more vertical positions in front and behind the driver.

Interesting idea, and I think you could be right. In the Taycan, and Lucid (with the smaller battery) they remove cells from the rear passenger footwell to make it more comfortable so your knees aren't so high. But those cars are also very long, so moving moving the batteries around should be relatively easy.

For a supercar, to get more than 100 kwh, if that is a target, they probably will have to be stacked given the limited size and need for 4-electric motors and whatever suspension they go with.

Kinda neat but if I’m honest the original LFA still looks better and for certain sounds better.

Frankly I’d take the EV MR2 concept over this one. If you’re going EV, might as well make it as compact as possible.
