You may want to reconsider/think about a 4.44 or 4:56 FD, 4.88 is so aggressive. 3rd will top out at about 74, and 3 to 4 shift is so long, 4th will top at about 104mph and you stop pulling in 5th gear.. So you’ll be wishing for a little more. 4.56 was perfect for NA full bolt ons in my opinion.

I enjoyed the videos as I had never seen those before. Any plans for a transmission cooler?

Had a stark AT cooler. Sold it

I stay in communication with both those drivers in the vids. The second video is someone who used to work for Ace. Not needed just creates another unnecessary fail point. Stock cooler is very capable this information came from both those drivers. It was one of my main concerns. If it overheats it goes into limp mode to let you drive back safely.

Got around to finally install and flash stage 1 on OFTv2. Thing opened up power from 3K+ RPM. Can’t believe I drove without it for so long.

Switching from Ts STI Springs to Swift Spec R Springs and SPC LCA. Sold the stock SHOWA struts and picked up 2019 performance package SACHS off a friend with only 9K miles.

STI Springs

Swift Spec R

After install headed over to Gran Tursimo East for some alignment magic.

Few weeks after the Swift Spec R settled and got my hands on some light Performance Package wheels (same friend who sold me his shocks). Compared to the STI Springs, car sits lower and has more grip overall. I do at times miss the playfulness of the STI springs as they are much softer and made the car more tail happy. However for spirited mountain runs. The Swift Spec Rs are the way to go.

Came VERY close to ordering an HKS SC but holding off for now. Updated OP with a few things installed yesterday (jdl header, greddy snorkel, hks oil cooler). So far WOW and with his cool weather lately butt dyno is happy. Car has some pep ha

Here are some shots of the header when it came in. Packed well and quality welds can be seen through the bronze coating Check out those flanges!

Should be getting the brakes and final drive installed in the next two weeks. Just waiting for my rotors to come in from UPS. Also, for anyone looking to get in contact with Weir I got my 4.56 Final Drive from him with a simple email request.

I'll get some updated pictures once the Brembos are on

Finally had some time to upload a few pics. Got the Brembos and Greddy Snorkle installed at ASC today. Gearing and driving feels amazing.

Looking forward to Touge Fest at tail of the dragon

I'll also be out there on the 17th for a honda/tuner meet if anyone wants to say hello. Cheers!

Tail of the Dragon was a blast! Perfect weather and not too many people on out or in the way on Sat. A lot of cool classic Hondas and even randomly saw Adam LZ ripping it out there. My BRZ came out in his video if you watch closely lol

Oil temp was sitting at 220 at the hottest. Loving the HKS oil cooler and would highly recommend if anyone is on the fence. I could literally just keep going and going. Not worried one bit about oil temps.

Anyone heading to TougeFest in 3 weeks?

I picked up a Maxton Design Gurney Flap V1 last year and it came with a gloss coat that just didn't look right to me after some time. After removing it and debating if I should put it back on. I decided to give it another go with the proper paint color and give it one more try.

Took about 3 weeks between removing 3M sticky crap from my wing and the gurney flap, sanding it down, waiting for the paint to come in, prime, paint and get new 3M tape on. Finally got it back on last night. Its functional for sure and love the unique look it gives.

I'll get some good pics when I have some time.
