FRS Rocker arm issues? Or rod knock?

This sound seems to be coming from cylinder 3, checked with a mechanics stethoscope to find the source. Anyone have a idea?

Well, there are two modes of rocker arm failure that are known. It either spits it out in which case you will probably have a CEL for engine missfire along with other possible issues. Or the axle can slide out. I have never seen the axle issue and don't know what the exact symptoms are. I can't imagine the rocker staying in place for long if that is the case. Doesn't sound like rod knock.

Is this an MT or AT car? Have you stuck a stethoscope to the bell housing?

So far it's been doing this for a little while, it didn't seem like rod knock to me and I know there are rocker arm issues, where they make stoppers for them. So far I haven't checked the bell housing, it is a AT for the time being till I do a swap

Cool I was worried because I just got the engine fully rebuilt brand new fully, I'll take some time later when I'm free and look into the vacuum pump. With the vacuum pump are there any symptoms with shifting at all?
