If I had a license to operate a transport truck, I would have no issue crossing the Canada/US border provided those unvaxxed dimwits weren't at the border causing FURTHER disruption to the supply chain. There were safety restrictions added for cross border travel by BOTH the US and Canada for a damn good reason. If you will not get vaccinated, that's your business but don't tell me how to control human flow at my borders during a pandemic. I wouldn't hire an untrained layman to perform medical procedures, so why would I allow him to determine how we control flow in and out of our borders during a pandemic? In the end, the proper authorities make the decisions. I don't care whether you like your politicians or not. The laws for public safety won't be manipulated to accommodate a very small percentage of the population's desire that it be done for their convenience.. Things change based on circumstance and for good.reason. The license test for truckers has changed over time too. Licenses are for PUBLIC SAFETY. Same reason they are encouraged to be vaccinated OR lose the privilege of easy cross border transit. If they refuse to believe or accept statistics based on real data, then we refuse to accept their fitness for cross border trucking.

so i know this farmer. he's raises somewhere near a few hundred thousand chickens. does pretty well at it even. he works really hard to always make sure his chickens are healthy. but it makes sense as he stands to make more money when they're healthy. a few dead/diseased chickens can spread really fast and cut into profits as he says.
this farmers brother is trying to get out of the chicken business, says it's unprofitable. he keeps driving his trucks over to his brothers farm and dumping his chickens in the barn. maybe not the worst problem to have, getting chicks for free and all. but this brother was sloppy. he spent his time playing the stock market, and tried making his chickens "free range" so he didn't have to maintain them so much. as a consequence, he's had a lot more dead and diseased chickens, which has contributed to his idea that chicken farming is unprofitable. is the farmer the asshole for refusing to deal with the less cared for chickens, that stand to spread disease through his batch of well maintained chickens? i mean, chickens have rights.

Soundman, that's a heck of an analogy but in a sense it's true if the free range group declined the regular protocol that maintains lower sickness.
We're reduced to chickens now. I knew an insurance adjuster that appraised a chicken barn fire. And in his words,"It smelled like Swiss Chalet". *kinda like Tim Hortons, everywhere in Canada, but it's rotisserie chicken.

Congrats. I did a home test a couple of days ago as well. I had an odd something going on. Wednesday night, spiked a fever of 101.5 (which is very high for me because my normal body temp is below 96). It was gone by Thursday morning (about 5 hours), but I hadn't got any sleep so I stayed home and basically napped on the couch all day. Took a home test that morning that was negative. The process repeated Thursday night and Friday night. Today (Saturday) I seem to be back to normal. I took a second COVID test, which was also negative.
I guess I had something else, but man I don't like being sick.

So how do we positively know that COVID is actually happening in other countries? Is the media manipulating us to think the whole world is being affected? Or is it just our government? I'm pretty positive none of this is happening anywhere else. Can you say GOVERNMENT CONTROL?! In fact I KNOW the china virus ain't real. I've known hundreds who said they got sick and were fine. Most got it before they started locking everyone down in October 2019. We are just caged animals!! You never hear about this in ANY OTHER COUNTRY! Except the most liberal communist countries like Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and America! What about Mexico?! What about Brazil? Greece, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Russia? Nope. Never hear about them locking everyone in their cages. Even China doesn't do it anymore. Why? Cuz they know they won by showing how weak we are!
Really, just think about it! There is no data showing covid anywhere else except the most socialist countries. Prove me wrong.

Whose locked in cages? Gyms, restaurants and businesses are all open. Except the mall and many businesses in Ottawa in the vicinity of the Freedumb rally.

Well if the socialist agenda would stop trying to control people, we wouldn't have this problem.
