Why do I have to do a test to find out what sort of personality I have? Seems like stating the obvious.

Edit. I've just done the test and I am suggesting that many people doing this test will answer the way they would like to see themselves not necessarily the way they are.

I got to question 30 and got bored with it. What personality does that make me? You know what, I don't care. In fact I think I'll go start a fire or do a puzzle, maybe set the puzzle on fire.

ENTP-A also. (Debater.) This is not the first time I've done Myers-Briggs and that result is pretty consistent regardless of the test's format. My aunt knew Mary McCaulley at University of Florida, who edited the 2nd edition of the test. She used several of her nieces and nephews (including me) as guinea pigs for that revision, published in 1985.

By the way, "P" does not stand for "Prospecting". It stands for "Perceiving," considered the opposite trait from "Judging".
