I need to get the headliner fixed in the Lotus. I think it involves a lot of stripping old glue. I don't want to do it.
Mrs. Ultra helped me fix the headliner in my Eclipse back before we were married. The only ugly part was cleaning off all the old foam. Just a lot of scraping to get down to the solid stuff.

yea, sounds about the same. I've read on the board and sounds like several patient hours of removing glue and junk.

Mrs. Ultra is so nice.

Took it to quite a few camping trips with my wife (then gf) and dog and did a lot of light off-roading (fire roads, stream crossings, sandstones in Moab, etc) and impressed a few jeep owners along the way. So yes, it did drive like a Russian tractor in a good way.

I actually learned how to use a sewing machine back in 6th grade. We learned on these old 1950's Singer machines that had to be actuated by rocking your foot back and forth.

Wished I learned how to sew something cool though, all I knew how to make were pencil cases, coin purses, cozies and doylies

I am still coughing up bits of foam when I redid my brothers head liner on his 92 Civic Si 2 years ago.

Right? I'm sofa king lucky. Have I told the story of when she helped me drop my transmission?

It's just the same thing scaled up. The coolest machine is the blind hemmer. That thing is mechanical art.

That nasty shit is worse than actual shit. It's both crumbly and sticky at the same time.

Crack pipe.

For that price it should have an STi swap already, not just be a "candidate" lol

Damn, as 2.5RSs go, probably one of the cleanest I've seen.

Agreed, its definitely super clean, but for that price, I'd expect an STI swap (or even at least a turbo/WRX swap) already done.
