We did the first one they did of this back in the day with an XA. It was a ton of fun. You get the 15k in cash and can use any sponsors you can find so don't expect the tally of stuff to stop at 15k. We went way over 15k.

They make you submit receipts to show you spent the money so no pocketing it.

Unfortunately our contest was judged by "Hot Import Nights" judges so the car that won was a widebody beast with tons of bling and heavy ass fiberglass stereo.

We went with a "time attack" style car. We gutted it, turbo'd it and used as much rare JDM parts as possible. We through volks and PMU brakes and some ARC stuff. We even made the stereo "quick release" so it could be pulled out in a flash. No credit for quality they went with bling.

Thanks. We had a blast doing it. It was in fact a dream come true. I had someone else pay me and all my friends to build a car. I just wish I could find a way to make it my profession.

Why don't you you open your own tune shop? Do all cars, don't just stop at the JDM cars. It can work, you just gotta show you know your shit and that you can get your cars to perform.

I know how you feel, I've been have very heavy thoughts about opening a rack track for the public but the money to do it, is insane.

Owned multiple cars in the past, along with a Lamborghini Gallardo. Now he drives a GTR as his daily, and a 5 series. I wish him the very best!

Baby blue - I don't really like the side exit exhausts, but I like the grill and fog light area. Pretty much stock other than the front lip, color and wheels. Don't really see where the $10k went to...?

Tan - I like the color and the LED fog light housing. Nice hood scoop and CF mirrors.

Black - I like the wide body, hood and headlights! Spoiler's alright...

Can't wait to see the results!
