Unless there will be FT-1 II concept, FT-1 will not like its production version. Proportion may remain, but the detail will be lost during translation.

FT-1 is a 2+2, and here is the proof.

I wish production LFA will have Lexus interior quality, better than GT-R and Corvette or Viper.

LMAO.....Now I see a WRX is ways better than a BRZ in both...Performance and Practicality.

May be you sacrifice here, to have there. But picking the WRX, you don't sacrifice as much in Performance + Practicality as the BRZ.

So what are you trying to imply Schilct ? Ignorant much ?

You miss the point here. WRX is AWD, the Twin is RWD. They will never feel the same, and you can't go sideway on WRX effortlessly. Also, mention one practical RWD coupe. The Twin is the most practical RWD coupe out there.

Clearly, you've never driven one on dirt or snow

Even some FWD cars can oversteer on dirt or snow. I'm talking about the real road or track, not dirt. 80% of WRX owners will not drive their car off-road anyway.

Not argue with you, but as all the research I did, the STI and or the EVO X, while being AWD, it can be drifted around the corner effortlessly, and it can also accelerate out of it effortlessly.

The different is STI AWD is Rear wheels based, and EVO is Front wheel based. But all of their set up, with the right skills, and control, all the torque can easily be applied on both the rear wheels.

For one example, Down shift to the Torque Range, pull the E brake, Heel and toe the shack out of it around the corner....adjust your gas pedal for Torque feels to continue drifting that corner or loosen up to gain friction and straight up, then ready to All wheel Accel out. The hardest thing for you to do = heel and toes.....and it doesn't only happen on AWD...it happens in RWD too.

So, I don't really get what you mean by Effortlessly drifting. Beside that, tires do play a lot of important rolls here. But one thing is for sure, the AWD, you can customize your car easier. They do drive different (as in Regain the Traction, the AWD gain back the Traction almost too quick to do any mistakes, while the RWD can keep on going) I agree with AWD-RWD drive different, but Drift ? only FWD does not drift effortlessly

note how he said "In a way the FT-1 is the next stage in that, a more accessible version of the LFA". does that mean we're going LFA power for a toyota price tag? its always nice to dream

Even if its halfway in between ... 200hp FR-S / 560hp LFA = 380hp FT-1?

You could, say a Lexus is always 1.5 to 2.0x the price of a Toyota. Therefore, the Lexus was 400k vehicle. You may want to dream closer to 150k-200k.

Now, on a more realistic modes of the Supra, you can dream it around C7 performance, and price. Which is around 350-400 HP 3000+ lbs, and 60-70k price tag.

I know people cry that the C7 is cheaper, well....It is a Chevy, can never compare to a Toyota in reliability and maintenance expenses

i dont see that happening at all. no one is going to buy a 60-70k supra with that kind of power.

the RC-F is at 450hp+ with a price of $70k.

plus the LF-LC is rumored to be a 500hp car with a price tag of around $100k.

Might wanna check again. Way back when they said it would be around 500hp. Actual figures are claimed 550 with people dynoning over 500 at the wheels indicating the power is fairly understated.
