Oh I was just saying I went with the same size setup. I can't get the sx2 in Ireland.

Landed on the Potenza Race 685euro/744usd for the set. Jealous of your 460usd setup lol

Where did you buy them if you don't mind me asking?

I live close enough to the border to buy a set.

QQ to everyone, I am hearing chopper like noise from rear, is it high speed wheel balance or just noisy tread?

Random thoughts/updates

PCA has 4 groups for my upcoming track day on Thursday, so less seat time. Probably have to look for different org now.

Weighed the wheels. Stock were 18.6kg with tires, new ones are 18.8kg.

Seems like having to take caps on and off would be forever hassle now?

When I was talking about learning rally, drift etc, my thought process was this

You can just leave the caps off... or realistically I've never had an issue with leaving the center caps on but YMMV.

Some organizations for track driving require you to remove center caps.

Yeah. I think this is dumb and left over from the days of steelies with hub caps (either full face or just covering the hubs) but whatever.

I lost one center cap during autocross (I might have ran over a cone or two...) on RPF1s (so not as well fitting as stock wheel).
Afterwards I moved to dedicated track tires on the RPF1s and just run them without caps.

The braid wheels I have coming needed some extra provision during the manufacturing process just to run center caps. This thread is hitting all kinds of topics lol

PCA does car control clinics that include a wet skid pad at Bremerton. I have been thinking about trying it out even though it is more beginner oriented.

I ended up with RS4s on stock wheels. Sx2s work out the same price to RS4s in Canada with our monopoly money conversion.
Less hassle on my end as I can order them from local shop to be installed.
