I will need to decontent the BRZ some before I sell it (stereo, header, tune). Really happy to learn that the headers will be a straight swap (currently running JDL UEL catless). Needless to say - very, very happy Friday for me!!

Yeah, Vroom is giving me $32,448 for my 2020 86 GT PP with 4,000 miles. Same feeling… crazy not to upgrade. Actually, they are picking up my car in the next hour.

I will say that Vroom is much more of a hassle than Carvana was last March.

Good for you! I went through all of the online retailers and fall last year vroom was offering the most but end of December Carmax gave me the best offer with my 2020 base with 4000 miles on it. I bought mine brand new last May for $19,500 and sold it to Carmax for $29,400. So I’m hoping my new one makes it here by the eta date. It does seem like a no brainer for sure!

I was worried about that too, but he only had to take it about 8 miles and Vroom has already emailed me to confirm all is good and they will be depositing the money shortly.

I know. They had 4 86s sitting on the lot for over a year. I bought it in May, they were all base models. I threw out a number and they said they couldn’t do it for the red one they had but they could for the black one. I’m in Omaha and I didn’t even know about this car until I stumbled across it on Everyday Driver. Not many people around here drive them. Anyway I was very proud of my haggling skills on that one. Unfortunately those days are over for the foreseeable future…

Any one else seeing no eta for their incoming car? Mine was populated previously (1/24 through 1/30), but now it is blank. Guess I'll call my sale person for an update later this week.

Just checked, mine still is - ETA 1/15 to 1/20! Any day now!!!

So when a dealer submits a "build", does toyota actually make that car to order or is it a request from the dealer to get a car like that in a future allocation?
