Some update ! I've decided to go forward and replace my headunit. I was supposed to get an aftermarket one but I really like to stick to oem stuff... So that's why I'm selling a radio installation kit lol.

I've went with the OEM 2020 86 headunit and I love it ! Bolt on installation, only need a bypass for the rear amp and I'm pretty sure it sound better than it did with the factory radio.

More update are on the way for the interior of the 86...

It's new pictures time !

What's new: I've removed my catless front pipe from a police officier "suggestion", re-repainted my front Tom's lip, re-painted my Bayson-R rear lip, installed 2020 Harman Android Auto HU and I've installed my black trims (high trim one for 2017+ 86/BRZ).

I love the new look of the cabin, as you can see I still don't have received my A/C vent ring. I'll probably stick with the silver steering trim since 1st, it's a bit expensive for a trim since you can't buy it without the switches and 2nd since the trim are more like satin metallic black it make like 3 different black on the same part (leather, button/cap, trim).

Looks good. If you consider going black with the wheel trim I had good results with duplicolor black vinyl paint.

Where abouts in Quebec are you?
If you are close-ish to the Ontario boarder we do bi-annual cruise-meet via FT86 club of Ottawa. Can be found via FB.

Thanks buddy ! The OEM trims that I've installed are not really black, they are more satin dark gray metallic so a "black black" that wouldn't match.

I'm about 3-4h drive from Ottawa so kinda long ride lol. Anyway currently we can't go into Ontario

Small update, my interiors mods are close to be finished !

I've rewired the 86 2020 radio to have the factory amp working and it sound way better, I've added C/F trim covers to mimic the OEM fake C/F on high trim model and I've replaced the shifter for the 2019+ TRD one (the same one as the 2017 GR)

Bad new, I had to remove my TRD exhaust and Invidia front pipe since I had a exhaust ticket... So for now back with the stock exhaust !

To keep my local cops happy, I've put back my OEM catback. To add a bit of sound I've installed an Borla UEL headers and switched my tune to Stage 2+ on the OFT.

Not the biggest fan of the UEL sound but with the factory muffler it just enough, I like it !

Surprised you were given a ticket for a factory muffler. I would take that to court and dispute it for that reason.

Didn't want to take the chance to loose and have to pay 100$ more (exhaust ticket are 315$).

The TRD isn't considered as a factory muffler over here...

That is unfortunate. I couldn't find specific info on exhaust mods for Quebec. You could always slap on the Front pipe again with the stock catback.

Nah, its the 2nd time I've got a ticket so I'll keep it the way it is. It sound great with only the uel. And I've already sold the front pipe lol.

The official exhaust rule is:

94. No component of the exhaust system shall be replaced, modified or removed so as to cause the system to be noisier than the one originally installed by the manufacturer on the road vehicle.

Police officer are told to check if the muffler in place have baffles. They stick a small metal wire inside the muffler and check if it goes through. In the case of the TRD exhaust, it's completely straight through (ive tried it myself).

It sucks but im over it. Now ive got a bit more sound than oem, the factory muffler to make the cops happy and no more torque dip !

Update: I've replaced my 2019 Tacoma for a 2021 Corolla hatch. Didn't need a pickup truck anymore. I've GR Sport'ised the Corolla for fun lol. Lowered on Tein spring. Love it so far !

On the 86 I finally received my JDM tips. As other pointed out, they don't stick out as on 2013-2016 FR-S/BRZ but they still fit better than USDM tips. On this picture, left is JDM right is USDM.

With both tip installed

I've installed an Injen pedal controller... because of the Corolla lol. Throttle response is so much better on the Corolla ! I've corrected that with the Injen controller. Work great and the display almost match the clock color lol.

In the last weeks, I've worked on my friend MR2 AW11. He just bought it and I must say, I've kind a felt in love with that car. My car look so big compared to it lol.
