Motul coolant

Hi Guys,

I understand the oem coolant should be good for nearly 11 years. I flushed mine out and used motul coolant instead, then just top off the reservoir with distilled water. How long/often should i flush and replace coolant with the motul? Its purple stuff.

Oh, my, ...... I just have to ask ...... WHY did you do that ......??

The topping off with distilled water part is OK.

HOWEVER, if it were my car, and someone put that stuff in my car, I would either:

Carefully read the ingredients listed on the MSDS ......and compare with the ingredients listed on the OEM coolant .......

OR

Drain that stuff out, flush the system and refill with the OEM recommended coolant.
