I’d imagine the W16 is just too complicated for what it was. Packaging wise it really doesn’t look that much different except shorter.

Meh... What do I know? Just guessing.

Yeah I can totally see that now. Wonder what the view in the ports look like? To be fair, each cylinder is only .5l so I’d be curious to see the specs of the valves.

8.3L vs 8, basically the same size. I wonder what the difference in stroke and timing is also.

I wonder what they did to fit the longer motor. Stretch that carbon fiber out a bit?

I was wondering if it had any relationship to the VW/Bentley w12. It was interesting to learn the w16 was assembled by VW.

Yeah, not sure. They also had to squeeze the hybrid system in there somewhere.

Also realizing that each of those intake ports on that W16 is feeding two intake valves, what a nightmare

I read it is 5 inches longer than the Chiron, and the battery is an integral part of the body.

I would assume the v16 also has 4 valves per cylinder?

I saw several Veyrons living in the bay area. They are very ugly. Once my wife and I went to dinner at La Fondue in Saratoga. When we came out there was a Veyron parked on one side of my car, and a Porsche 918 on the other. I thought it was funny, this cheap little sports car surrounded by millions of dollars worth of car.

One time a friend of mine that owns a towing company that specializes in high end cars had one on his truck and came by my house with it. We really checked it out. Insane engineering, but ugly.
