FOB INSIDE CAR AND DOORS ARE LOCKED HELP

Yep! as said above! i always thought the doors cant be locked if the fob is still inside the car somewhere. if someone can help me on this(my daughters car) you can PM me.. i know this is probably a touchy subject of a security issue.
'14 BRZ....thanks. i'm thinking i am SOL an gotta go old school with a long rod going in sideways and then trying to hit the unlock button on door

Get the spare key bro.
Check if the trunk is open .
Call CAA, Abrams, or whichever key company you trust?

Call Subaru and buy a spare key if you have the VIN and ownership.

This won't work. If the car locked itself via the keyfob, the alarm will be armed. If you're fast enough, you might be able to yank on the door handle in the instant before it locks itself again. Be prepared for horns and lights

You can try flipping the lock toggle near the handle

Can't you just push the trunk button with a coat hanger? Looks like a straight shot.

Good idea but aren't the releases for the seat back inside the cabin?

I think Ultramaroon meant the trunk release button on the left side of the panel below the instrument cluster.

Alrighty then!! thanks for all the thinking on this. since we're probably all sitting down reading this, heres my story. ok, so my daughter thought she locked the fob inside the car cause she looked thru her purse, pockets ,etc, after coming home from work. After i got off from work i went home to get some stuff, considering the lay out of the BRZ's door locks and the location of them, i brought a 1/8" and 3/8" diameter steel rods about 3-4ft long, some rubber vacuum plug caps and a small old wooden tray box 8" x 10". after i got to the car i double checked where the door locks and manual thumb lock were. stuck the rubber cap over the end of the metal 3/8" rod so i wouldnt scratch anything, busted the wood box apart and wedged some pieces between the glass and door rubber to open a gap, this was on the rear part of the side door glass next to the back seat window. slid the rod thru until i got to the (unlock) button and pushed it with the rubber cap... bingo ! unlocked the door and opened it up. first thing i did was push the starter button... nothing! the yellow lock key and red lock key displayed, so to me that meant the key wasnt inside the car, i looked all over, under, front, rear...no fob. went in my daughters Apt. and she came out of one of the rooms with the key! lol!! she had it in her Jacket pocket. This is hawaii,,,nobody wears a jacket but she did cause it happened to be cold in her office and she forgot that she wore it., it was the inner pocket that went farther inside. just to let you know, no beatings occured LOL... we laughed and i said i got in but sorry i busted the window trying (jokeing)... so there it is...took like less than 30 seconds to get in... with no damage

I locked my key in the trunk once when I was on a road trip. The locksmith whipped out a little airbag that pumped up like a blood pressure cuff. Took less than a minute to break in.
