Pittsburgh and tri-state area peeps!

Hey everybody been a hot minute since i’ve posted, always looking but not usually posting. Anyway, we’re getting an early spring so far and i’m getting ansi for a car show. So all us fellow 86/FRS And BRZ owners lets all decide on a place and meetup. I live a little S.E of the city. All vehicles are welcome of course, I’d like to here input from all of you on a location, i’m thinking definitely away from the city limits though, for reasons that should be obvious. Haha

Boxerfest is in york, and I agree with doing it outside of pittsburgh. I finally escaped the city alive after nearly a decade and never want to go back.

Pittsburgh people exist on here?! I met up with one other guy from here at cars & coffee at Generoasta in Warrendale to grab a few parts off him.

Just FYI, we have a monthly "Subaru" meet up (WRX/STI, BRZ/FRS, other JDMers) on the third Thursday of every month. It's usually held at the BWW in West Mifflin because of the big lot there, but than caught fire right at our 10 year anniversary last year. We're currently bouncing around to various South Hills restaurants/bars.

Our next one is Thursday the 21st. Location TBD.

Boxerfest sounds great, i may have to check it out this year, Tbh i’ve never heard of it. I usually source my shows from Carcruise.com and never seen it on there. Have you gone before?

That sounds great, as soon as you get the next location i’d greatly appreciate the info, thanks man. Anyway, up at Mosites Motorsports in North Versailles theres a meet every other Saturday, mostly Subie guys, but anything is welcome, i’ve only been to it once and idk the Subie guys at least the time i went weren’t very friendly, all they did was vape and give dirty/weird looks at everyone who wasn’t in their clique. Lol, also they were selling stuff that was wildly inappropriate for a car show. Hopefully the meetup your talking about is a better and friendlier scene.

My car was down for last years show but now I have 2 and what are the odds they will both be inoperable at the same time? I've heard it is cool and it has an autocross. So I'm going to try and do that too

I've wanted to do the autocross there, but the courses are short and tight. I did go back when it was at Fedex Field the last year it was there and at the York Fairgrounds the first year.

I think I've heard you mention autocross here and there. Why don't I see you at Steel Cities or North Park events? I literally attend every one.

I moved out of pittsburgh 6 years ago and never plan on going back that's why. I did use to run into this older brz all the time in the south side. Never did meet who drove it

Nope I live in Harrisburg which is between Pittsburgh and the tri state area.

Next meet is tomorrow (3/22) at The Yard at the Galleria in Mt Lebanon. We'll likely be parking down in the parking garage. Only 5 of us this time it looks like.

I'll have my WRX as my BRZ needs an alignment after the suspension install I did this weekend.

Damn, wish i would have seen this sooner, but the forums were in maintenance mode again and i couldn’t log in. I don’t think i’ll be able to mKe it tonight because of work and i have a couple things afterwards, let me know a couple days in advance for the next one and i’ll move things around so that i can make it.
