If you are not held to rules that ban them, diffusing your splitter is far more effective at getting front end downforce. Dive planes really don’t do that much and are more for tweaking balance and seem to be more effective at just evacuating the front fender wells by the way they are placed on our cars.

An allroad wouldn't be my first choice on a race track, but I've driven a couple that would probably beat most BRZs around a track on equal tires.

The gathering of Second Gen cars

Did two days at Pitt Race (Pittsburgh International Race Complex).
A great track that's new to me! Is an eight hour drive!
I did a wing adjustment and tried some different shock settings. Got to where I was weaving nicely through the esses. There were two other BRZ's and two GR86's. Steve's silver '23 is set up comparably to mine, minus the aero. He only has a CF splitter.
Both guys have won national championships in Spec Miatas...We both managed a 2:06 (that being my best lap).

7-30 and 31 at Club Motorsports. Did a 1:44 and consistent laps under 1:46. Car was great. Monitored my oil pressure for one session and did not see any pressure drops in right-hand turns.

Inexpensive, adaptable, easy to swap camera mount

I thought members might be interested in something I found.
Since I track my BRZ I sometimes want more than just the one camera in my Garmin Catalyst. I also wanted a different vantage point, like rearward, or of my hands, feet, etc..
This $20 adjustable 1" pole is a perfect fit for the console cup holder area to the headliner.
Any 1" handlebar/tube mount style adapter (like Ram Mounts) can get you to where you can hold any camera, at any angle. I use a GoPro and a Lumix GH5. Now, I can attach a quality microphone on the mount as well and any number of cameras!
The rings and hardware are pieces I had laying around. I intend to attach a lanyard to one of the SS rings so the pole/camera can't go flying around if it gets loose during an off road adventure.

Thanks for the info. I quickly scanned your thread but didn't see if you had made some oiling mods to your car. Baffle? Cooler? If so, what makes/model?

Thanks.

Post #1 and #4 describe and show my system.
A TRUST/GREDDY OIL PAN BAFFLE PLATE 13515902 will be installed when I next pull the pan.
When I pulled my pan I found potential problems with silicone sealant stalactites, but none had fallen naturally during the first 2K miles.
I run 5-40 V300 oil.

Some testing I seen on YouTube seems to indicate some baffles simple don’t help or not enough. Varus has a prototype being tested this weekend. I would give that a watch before buying anything personally.

A personal best at Club Motorsports!

A personal best at Club Motorsports of 1:43! This after driving on the course since 2017, when it opened! I was running a new set of 245 Supercar 3R tires. I know there's a full second or more to be gained if I get smoother at this elevated pace.

I have also since uploaded a full session video where there's plenty of action, with me passing a lot of good cars in our black (advanced) Porsche Club class.
At least for me, the videos loaded fastest if viewed on YouTube.

nice! How did it feel? That track has no room for errors. That wall is close.

I hardly recognize the track anymore. Last time I was there was like 20 years ago and it was still named BeaveRun. Dating myself…
