300rwhp Edelbrock Supercharged Brz

UPDATED!!! Sorry for delay!!!

Hey guys, Loyal Crystal Black Sylica Brz Owner since July 2013!! After years of quietly hiding out here in NJ I thought I'd share my build with you guys. As of now I am nowhere near my final product but the time is near

I am an International Formula Driver from NJ so literally ALL of my money is re invested in my career. However I am able to work odd jobs and delivery while home training during the off season which is how I am able to Mod my car

I will be using this thread to post photos of cosmetic and performance upgrades and their installs as well as discuss questions and goals for the build.

Final build goal is the Harrop supercharger with 300 rwhp.

Car As Is:

ENGINE
-Injen Ram Air
-Crawford Power Blocks
-Nameless 2.5" Catted Over Pipe
-M7 Cat Back
-Ekutek 93 octane Tune from EFI Logics

Still need
- Nameless 2.5" Header/ Ace Type A 250 Header
- Harrop Supercharger System (coming soon!)
- Oil Cooler
- Low Temp Thermostat

SUSPENSION

-Whiteline Front Strut

-Cusco Diagnal Front Struts

-Tanabe Rear Strut

Still Need
- STI Pinks
- tS bushings and updated suspension components
- Downforce (ft86 front lip? Ft86SF rear diffuser? STI Side Skirts, Tommy Kaira rear wing?)

Visual
- STI Bits

And that's about it save for some minor cosmetics!

I believe I am one of very few M7 owners in the US so if you wanna know what it sounds like check out my Social Media Pages

Base Line 180 RWHP

This is after tuning. 178 RWHP

Now don't be alarmed and say "You lost power" Dyno's are tuning tools so let's use that tool!

My tune was done on a different day than my baseline. The baseline HP for that tuning day was 168 HP. We finished with 178 That's an increase of 10 horsepower or 5.9%

.059 x 180 (baseline from the other day)= 10.7

190.7 hp once corrected!

^+1, I'd love to follow up on your car!

I'm local so let me know if you ever go to a local meet. I'd love to see the car and listen to that M7 cat-back.

Yeahh they are. Look they may not be giving me much power but they bring it down to a more usable range, and shrinks the torque dip. Every other NA brz ive pulled with hasn't been able to keep up, I get too much area under my torque curve with the power blocks and tune!!

So I'm definitely going to be looking for a way to tie up the upper front end once the super charger goes in. The white line strut I have won't clear, no struts will.

What is an international formula driver. Educate me please. And do you have FI, or just still in the works?

Sure! I am an open wheel race car driver currently holding an international C racing license. I have competed in both the US and in Europe in 2016 I competed in Formula Renault 2.0. I've tested and raced in Monaco, Motorland Spain, and Silverstone, I've tested Nurburgring GP, Circuit Paul Ricard, and Red Bull Ring. I've raced on Most of the Major US Road Courses.

If you had followed my links you could have found out for yourself

I also don't pay to race. If I can't find the sponsors I don't race

No I'm not FI yet

Ok, I officially hate you ( as I stare out my cubicle window and lament the choices I made in life).

That sounds too cool. If you are ever in the San Jose erea I would love to buy you a beer and talk.

Being a pro, do you ever do driving schools as an instructor? Some of the best times of my life were when I was on the track with an expert. I learned so much.

Anyway, best of luck on your career, and I still hate you, and please look,me up if in San Jose.

300rwhp Edelbrock Supercharged Brz

Hey thanks so much for you're enthusiasm! Haha. I did start my career with Skip barber and could be asked by them to instruct a class. However the most instructing I've done was at a super car auto cross event. That was fun but the owners changed insurance policies so I needed to be 25 to drive and that was the biggest perk about the job! So obviously that came to a halt. Thanks for sharing your experience with me! I'm glad people are starting to integrate between the many motoring cultures

Hey Guys!! Just went to EFI Logics in Bethel, Connecticut for a baseline Dyno run! (What a shop!)
Just as I suspected with the Power Blocks my car is running rich. Turbo car rich. Which is nice to know I can still get power by just leaning it out. (Just as the 3rd party testing review says)
With the current tune I put down 180 rwhp on average over 3 pulls. I will post dyno chart and video this week!
