Can you elaborate on the difference between this brace and whiteline differential bushings. I dont know which to pick, also can they be run together?

Just relaying what Rick is telling me, the Cusco mount will bypass the factory diff bushings altogether, so you wouldn't need the whiteline bushings.

Just wanted to point out something about the install on the diff brace (as i literally just finished mine).

You don't need to drop the lateral arm(s). Just grab a combo wrench (17mm) and put the nut in it and slap a bit of tape around the base/sides to hold it. Slide that up there and screw in the bolt. the other side is pretty easy to hold the nut with your fingers.

Do you HAVE TO unbolt the overpipe to raise the engine?

Woah sorry for the super late reply lol. If you're concerned with noise and harshness, I would go with the bushings for sure, it is not quite as "locked down" but you also won't get the noise and vibration you will get from the brace. If the harshness is no concern, the brace for sure

We run the Perrin mounts on our STI and have run the Cusco's on all of our previous builds. I would say the Cusco's are on the stiffer side for sure, it's not a night and day difference, but you can feel it. If you daily drive the car, I would personally go with Perrin

Thanks,
Rick
