Hey Jordan, thanks for the help and the kind words. I've been telling anyone that'll listen (and some that won't ) about the encouraging things you and Brian were saying about my driving... and to think that I almost cancelled!

Chris: I got it at the Turn 21 shop at the Track. $3 for the smallest of 3 sizes available. The lady there was super nice! I bought "The Calabogie Prayer" T-Shirt as well...

Who's going to Race The Runway?

Bot sure what I want to do. Subiefestival is closer. But it's seeing the same 7 cars over and over.

Race the runway is Saturday Aug 15 at Smiths Falls Airport. $200 to actually run your car I think.

I'm doing the annual Nepean Kiwanis Charity Car Show in Bells Corners Saturday Aug 15 - more info at http://www.nepeankiwanis.com

Lots to do with cars this time of year hard to do it all though.

Found it, All booked up it seems! would be a cool event to try out.. maybe get over 120km/ph after a mile run

Not sure if I will regret asking this question, but looking for general inquirey - maybe someone can link me to a better place for info

Bringing the car in on friday morning to have my issue with 4th gear grinding at higher rpms,

I am wondering if my ECUtek tune will effect the transmission warranty. as I understand we can mention Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, but i am unsure if the change in power will void all powertrain warranty - does ANYONE know anyone who has had an experience like this and what to mention, and not to mention?

Throwing around American legal stuff will get you nowhere.
I'd say call your dealer anonymously and ask

Doubtful they would be able to blame the tune for the 4th gear grinding.

But if you mention the ECUtek tune, they could make a note on your file for future warranty claims (like coils or other related).

They would have no reason to look into the ecu as it's not engine-related.
