I also recommend Goodrich SS brake lines for track readiness and I used Project mu 335 brake fluid. Not that I'm pushing my brake limits yet on lapping days lol

What these guys said. All good stuff.
Start with the basics, K&N drop-in filter is $75 and the stock airbox flows well, plus the snorkel mod is cheap at 0$ but requires you taking the bumper off.

Lots of strut braces available, from Hotchkis to the jdm stuff like Cusco.

As @The_Understated put it, quality of life upgrades will have you enjoy the car more. From the hood struts to an OFT, to an exhaust system. Depends on what path you choose.

It's a blast, and it would be great to see more twins out there. Out of 81 drivers there were six of us representing in the Sat event:

Code:
Me FR-S 49.849 sec
Kenny FR-S 50.955 sec
Pete FR-S 52.101 sec
Pierre BRZ 52.692 sec
Justin BRZ 56.015 sec
Sarabjit FR-S 61.693 sec
(full results here: http://www.mco.org/wordpress/autocro...und-1-results/ )

Next local event is Sat June 20th at the Canadian Tire Center. Come on out, we're always happy to give rides and sucker in new recruits, ummm, I mean show you how much fun it is!

Just got my spot in the autocross school next week so I'll definitely be putting down some times this season.

Has anyone dealt with these guys before or know anyone that has? I was hoping to find a local ecutek tuner with a good rep before I install the flex fuel kit.

Chris tuned my STI when he was with Tonik. He knows his stuff and I would definitely recommend him!

Oil temp hit an impressive 249 degrees during 'spirited' driving on the cruise last weekend. Which oil cooler option is recommended?

That seems pretty high for just driving around.

I have the OEM cooler sandwich plate connected to the throttle body and I hit 255F max at the track.

Spirited might be an understatement to describe the weekend run over a few hours. :-)

that is pretty nuts, considering we where apart of the slower drivers.
I would like an oil cooler myself.

I got myself the FullBlown Oil Cooler because it fits perfectly with the Turbo setup but they are so expensive the oil cooler kits thats it doesn't make sense. Some use aftermarket ebay kits and mount them themselves.
