Great turn out at M&M tonight!
So many brand new FRS!!
Great to meet the noobs
I think we successfully managed to influence a few starter mods too
Crappy I didn't have my car out tonight but my eyes are better now
Next week is 1morelap at CMP (I'll be there) but I'll have stock wheels on it when I make it back to M&M

Thanks for the ride to M&M @dolo and the ride back home @Pbrown

Anytime @FRS_Ken, I'm looking forward to seeing your ride next time.

I'm still really surprised by the amount of people that come out, it was great!

I'd love to come out to 1ML and see what it's all about, is it spectator friendly?

Yes it is! You can get a ride with people around the track which is great!

The more oil threads I read on the interwebz the more confused I get. Lol.

Seems like there's a great group of Toyobaru owners in and around Ottawa from what I've read so far!

Welcome Jordan,
As a longtime track addict, I researched the quality of the Toyota 0W20 Synth when I first got the car. This oil is one of the best rated OEM oils out there. I'm sure some of the racing oils (RP, Motul, Redline, etc..) are marginally better but at a large increase in price, I'm happy with the Toyota 0W20.
That's all I have run in my car over the last 2 years, 48,000 kms and about 20 track days. Oh, and I'm not very easy on the car either.

I'm trying out the Quaker State Ultimate Durability 0W20. Spec wise it is very close to the high end oils that everyone raves about, but when it's on sale at Crappy Tire it is a LOT cheaper. I'll be changing it before the next track day and should be at around 23K and I will be sending a sample for analysis to see what I can see.

My engine didn't blow up at the track, so I'd say it's good so far.
Thanks for the info jvincent! Good to know there's an inexpensive option that's easy to get.

Good news. Thanks, Andre. I'll see what my dealer puts in but I think I'll stick with 0W20, especially if it's the Toyota oil.

Hoping to go to Calabogie next Friday assuming there's still spots left.
