Mobil 1 incl 0W40 $35 cash

Found a guy on Kijiji that sells 4.4L jugs for $35 cash. Especially good for people buying 0W40 as its rarely in stock/on sale at CT. Bought some, the jugs were sealed.
PM me if you want to text him, he's in the Yonge/16th area.

That seems kinda thick for these cars. Might be OK in my dad's TR6.

I wouldn't go any thinner with my HKS supercharger and oil cooler. He has all viscosities BTW but thanks.

I would suggest getting a pressure gauge before going up in viscosity... someone on here just put in a pressure gauge and has gone back to 0w20 from 5w30 because he was over 100psi with the oil up to temp over 4000 rpm.

HKS supercharger manual reccommends no less than 0W40. Car is not driven in Nov 1 to May 31. I won't be adding a lot more stuff to the car any time soon, won't even receive the replacement blower until possibly end of Sept. It's been a very expensive year.

I have been using 0W40 this year and I do have a pressure gauge installed. When the oil is at 195°F, at 4000rpm I see 90psi. That reading is taken from a sandwich plate at the oil filter which reads high compared to the ideal location at the block beside the AC compressor.

I don't daily or winter drive my car so adequate oil pressure at the track is my main concern. The only time I don't like the increase in pressure is during cold starts. That is when it gets silly. I always let the car idle a few minutes before taking off. Pressures drop to a reasonable level for gentle driving pretty quickly.

I don't want to go on and on and completely derail this thread. @wbradley thanks for posting up a good deal.
